It is with humble pride that we present an assembly of old tat rare and sought after automobilia belonging to the Rt. Hon. Edgar A. Jessop VC, MBE, DSO and (mainly) Bar*. The items have been carefully selected** from a collection spanning over 100 years of aviation and automotive history, and will be of great interest to collectors whose spouses are sufficiently understanding to allow this stuff in the house.

Sir Henry - or Tim as he preferred to be called - Birkin was a true racing legend. He achieved fame for his performances at Le Mans in his blower Bentley, culminating in a win in 1930.

These are in excellent condition, with the fur trim being particularly good. The elastic headband is faded but still has a surprising amount of stretch in it. The lenses have some surface pitting but are clear and optically good. There's some rippling to the edges of the tinted layer, probably...
